How to Set Up Your MAG Box

Follow these steps to set up your MAG Box and start streaming content. You will need to find the correct portal URL for your device.

Step 1: Connect the MAG Box

Unbox your MAG Box and connect it to your TV using an HDMI cable. Plug in the power adapter and connect it to a power source. Ensure your TV is set to the correct HDMI input to display the MAG Box interface.

Step 2: Connect to the Internet

Make sure your MAG Box is connected to the internet. You can connect either via Ethernet (recommended for stability) or Wi-Fi. Here’s how:

  • Ethernet: Connect an Ethernet cable to the back of your MAG Box for a direct connection.
  • Wi-Fi: Navigate to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi, select your network from the list, enter your Wi-Fi password, and connect.

Step 3: Find the Portal URL

To access IPTV content on your MAG Box, you will need the correct portal URL. To find the right portal URL for your device, please visit the following link:

Once you have the correct portal URL from the guide, it will typically look something like this:

Example Portal URL: http://mag.mr.iptv.uno/s/xxxx
(The xxxx will be the unique part of your own url which can be found here: http://www.simpleiptv.net/portal/)

Follow these steps to enter the portal URL into your MAG Box:

  1. From the main menu, go to Settings.
  2. Select System Settings.
  3. Choose Servers.
  4. Click on Portals.
  5. In the Portal 1 field, enter the portal URL that you found in the guide.
  6. Leave the Portal 2 field empty (unless you have a second portal URL).
  7. Click OK to save the changes.

Step 4: Restart the MAG Box

After entering the portal URL, restart your MAG Box. You can do this by unplugging the power cable, waiting a few seconds, and then plugging it back in. Once the box restarts, it will load the portal, and you should see the TV channels and content.

Step 5: Enjoy Your IPTV Service

Once your MAG Box has rebooted, it will automatically connect to the portal and load the available channels and content. You can now start watching your favorite programs!

Troubleshooting Tips

  • No Internet Connection: Double-check your Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection in the Network settings.
  • Portal Not Loading: Ensure you entered the portal URL correctly. If you’re unsure of the URL, refer to the guide available at: http://www.simpleiptv.net/portal/.
  • Stuck on Loading: If the MAG Box is stuck on the loading screen, try rebooting the device by unplugging and re-plugging it.
